Got questions?
I've got cozy answers.

Everything you need to know before, during, and after your pattern adventure with mincrochets — from instant downloads to licensing, support, and a few stitches in between. 🧶

01

Orders & Downloads

How do I receive my pattern after purchase?

Right after you complete your purchase, you'll get your pattern in two ways — whichever finds you first:

  • A download link pops up on the Thank You page the moment your payment goes through.
  • A confirmation email with your download link is sent to the address you used at checkout.

Click the link, save the PDF to your device, and you're ready to stitch! 🧵

I didn't receive my download email — what should I do?

First, take a deep breath — your pattern is safe and we'll get it to you. Try these in order:

  • Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder — sometimes the email gets shy and hides there.
  • Make sure you typed your email correctly at checkout.
  • Use our Order Lookup page with the email or phone number you used to purchase.

If none of that works, email me at support@testmincrohets.online with your order number and I'll resend your link personally — usually within a few hours.

Can I download my pattern more than once?

Absolutely! Once you've purchased a pattern, it's yours forever. You can re-download it as many times as you need — just save the PDF somewhere safe (and maybe back it up to your cloud, because we both know how laptops are 💾).

If you ever lose access, just contact me with your order number and I'll send the file your way again.

Is the pattern a digital file or a physical product?

Every pattern in our shop is a digital PDF download — no physical item gets shipped to your door. You'll get the file instantly after checkout so you can start stitching the same day. ⚡

💡 Tip: Patterns look great on tablets and phones, but if you love a printed copy to scribble notes on, go for it!
Can I see a sample before buying?

Yes! Right next to the "Add to Cart" button on each product page, there's a "View Sample" button. It gives you a peek at the layout, photo quality, and how the instructions are written, so you can shop with full confidence.

What format is the pattern in?

All patterns come as PDF files, which open easily on:

  • Phones, tablets, and computers (any OS)
  • E-readers like Kindle, iPad, or Boox
  • Printers — if you'd like a physical copy

You don't need any special software — just a free PDF reader like Adobe Reader, Preview (Mac), or your browser.

Can I purchase as a guest?

Of course! No account required. Just add your favorite patterns to the cart and check out — your pattern email goes straight to your inbox. That said, creating an account makes it easier to re-download patterns later and keep track of your stash 🧺

02

About the Patterns

What skill level are your patterns for?

My patterns range from beginner-friendly to intermediate. Each product page lists the recommended skill level so you know what you're getting into.

If you can comfortably do basic stitches (chain, single crochet, slip stitch, magic ring, increase/decrease), you'll be fine with most beginner+ patterns. Trickier construction details — like flip-tops, joining, or 3D shaping — are always explained step-by-step with clear photos.

What's included inside the PDF?

Every pattern comes with everything you need to finish the project, written in a clear, friendly tone:

  • Step-by-step written instructions in US crochet terms
  • Clear photos for tricky construction parts
  • Materials list with exact yarn weights and hook sizes
  • Stitch list and abbreviations used
  • Sizing details (for wearables and certain projects)
  • Personal shopping links for yarn and supplies I love and recommend 🛒
What language are the patterns in?

Right now, all patterns are written in English using US crochet terms. I'm slowly working on offering more language options in the future!

If you need help understanding a particular term or section, please reach out — I'm happy to explain anything via email or live chat. Many crocheters around the world stitch my patterns just fine using a translation app alongside the PDF.

Are US or UK crochet terms used?

All my patterns use US crochet terms. If you're more comfortable with UK terms, here's a quick reminder of the most common conversions:

  • US single crochet (sc) = UK double crochet (dc)
  • US double crochet (dc) = UK treble crochet (tr)
  • US half double crochet (hdc) = UK half treble (htr)
What yarn and hook do you recommend?

Each pattern includes a detailed materials list with the exact yarn weight, hook size, and quantity I used. I also drop in my personal shopping links for the brands I love and trust — so you don't have to guess between 47 brown yarns at the craft store. 🧶

You're absolutely free to substitute! Just keep yarn weight and hook size similar to keep the proportions right.

Will the finished piece look exactly like the photos?

If you use the same yarn weight and hook size, your project will look very close to mine! Small differences in yarn brand, color, or tension can give your piece its own personality — which is part of the magic of handmade. ✨

I always include real customer photos and reviews on the product page so you can see how the same pattern looks in different hands and yarns.

03

Payment & Refunds

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept all major payment methods through a secure checkout, including:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay
  • Shop Pay

All transactions are encrypted, and your card details are never stored on our side.

What currency are your prices in?

Prices on the website default to USD ($), but your payment provider will automatically convert to your local currency at checkout. The final amount you pay depends on your bank's exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Do you offer refunds?

Because all of my products are digital downloads, I generally cannot accept returns or exchanges once a purchase is complete and the file has been delivered. Once the PDF is downloaded, it can't be "returned" the way a physical item could.

That said, your satisfaction matters to me. Refund requests are reviewed individually and on a case-by-case basis, especially if there's a real issue with the file — see the next question.

What if there's a problem with the pattern itself?

If you find a technical issue, an error in the instructions, or something that's making it impossible to follow the pattern, please contact me within 7 days of purchase at support@testmincrohets.online.

Tell me what's going wrong (a screenshot or photo helps a lot!) and I'll either send a corrected file, walk you through it, or — depending on the situation — issue a refund. I stand fully behind every pattern I publish.

Are there discounts or bundle deals?

Yes! I run regular promotions like "Buy 3, Pay for 2" and seasonal sales — these are usually flagged at the top of the homepage. I also bundle related patterns together at a discount whenever it makes sense (think holiday collections or matching sets).

The easiest way to never miss a deal is to join the newsletter — you'll get early access to sales and a heads-up about new arrivals. 💌

04

Licensing & Use

Can I sell the finished items I make from your patterns?

Yes — and I'm thrilled when crafters do! 🌷 You're welcome to sell finished, handmade products made from my patterns on Etsy, at markets, in your own shop, anywhere.

The only thing I ask is that you credit mincrochets.com as the original designer in your product listing or description (something like "Crocheted from a mincrochets.com original pattern" is perfect).

Can I share or resell the pattern PDF?

No, please don't. The pattern itself (the PDF, photos, written instructions, and design) is for personal use only. That means:

  • ❌ Don't share the PDF with friends, in groups, or online
  • ❌ Don't resell, repost, or redistribute any part of it
  • ❌ Don't translate and republish it as your own
  • ✅ Do sell finished items you make (with credit)

Each pattern represents months of designing, testing, photographing, and writing. Respecting that lets me keep creating new ones for you. 💛

Can I use the pattern for charity, gifts, or class teaching?

Charity & gifts: Yes, absolutely. Make as many as your heart desires for loved ones, donations, or charitable causes. ❤️

Teaching a class: Each student should purchase their own copy of the pattern. You're more than welcome to use my patterns in classes, workshops, or crochet-alongs as long as everyone has their own license.

Can I modify the pattern?

Of course — that's part of the fun! Change yarn colors, swap eyes for safety beads, resize, mix and match elements with other patterns. Make it yours. 🎨

The only thing that stays under copyright is the original written pattern and photos — those can't be republished or sold, even in modified form.

05

Help & Support

I'm stuck on a step — can you help?

Absolutely! Helping you finish your project is part of the deal. You can reach me through:

When you message me, please include the pattern name, the step or row you're stuck on, and a photo if you can. Photos help me see exactly what's happening so I can give the most useful answer. 📸

How long does it take to get a reply?

I personally read and answer every message — usually within 24 hours on weekdays. Weekends and holidays might take a tiny bit longer, but I'll never leave you hanging. If you haven't heard back in 48 hours, please re-send (sometimes emails just disappear into the void 👻).

Do you offer custom or commission patterns?

I don't currently take custom commissions, but I always love hearing your ideas! If there's a pattern or design you'd love to see in the shop, send me a message — many of my best patterns started as suggestions from fellow crocheters. ✨

Where can I share photos of my finished project?

Please do! Seeing your makes is genuinely my favorite part of running this shop. You can:

  • Tag @mincrochets on Instagram or TikTok
  • Leave a review with photos on the product page
  • Email me a picture — I might feature it in a future post (with your permission)

About mincrochets

Who runs mincrochets?

Hi! I'm Min. I graduated with an economics degree in 2022, but office life never quite felt right. I wanted to create something more personal and joyful — something handmade and shared with others. That's how mincrochets was born: a cozy little space where my love of crochet brings colorful, calming ideas to everyday life. 🌷

Every pattern in the shop is designed, stitched, photographed, and written by me.

How often do you release new patterns?

I release new patterns regularly — usually a few times a month, with seasonal collections around holidays. The fastest way to see new releases is to subscribe to the newsletter or follow along on social media.

Can I request a specific pattern?

Yes please! Pattern ideas from the community are some of my favorites to design. Drop me a message with what you'd love to see — animal, accessory, decor, anything goes — and I'll add it to my idea list. No promises on timing, but many requests have made it into the shop. 💌

Still have a question?

Can't find what you're looking for? I'm always happy to help — usually with a cup of tea in hand. ☕
